My thoughts:

After surprisingly not-bad threequel with dinosaurs under the ice, awesome new character Buck and funny love triangle between Scrat,Scratte and acorn, franchise got back on the surface of the planet with clumsy story. And it lacks any fun or memorable characters. Instead it has Peaches who is learning how to choose friends, that parents always love their children and boring screen time with Sid, his granny (who is not lame, but somewhat obvious character), Diego, moaning (again!) Manny trying to reunite with the rest of extinct animals.
